Our philosophy
We are not your traditional dive centre.
Join us if you have a SOUL for conservation and a big passion for adventures in the ocean!
If your heart is involved in environmental projects, this is your place.
If you want to collect dive stamps and names of dive sites, we might not be your best choice.
Respect our ocean's treasures
When diving with us, it's crucial to remember: Never touch anything underwater.
This is a golden rule we emphasize in our pre-dive briefings.
To protect our marine ecosystems, we kindly request that all divers use reef-safe sunscreen or avoid it entirely. A hat and buff can provide ample sun protection. We have reef-safe sunscreen available at our shop.

At Soul Scuba Divers, your safety and comfort are our priority. Our experienced divemasters, with at least four years diving in Raja Ampat, create personalized dive plans that cater to your skill level and preferences.

Small groups: We keep dive groups to a maximum of four divers for open water and five for advanced, ensuring personalized attention.

Comprehensive briefings: Detailed dive site maps and pre-dive briefings help you understand underwater conditions.

Tide-aware diving: We schedule dives around tides and currents for optimal safety and enjoyment.

Shallow dives: Most of our dive sites offer stunning experiences at manageable depths, ensuring you stay within no-deco limits.
Safety is our top priority. We never compromise on safety stops and have an emergency action plan in place. Remember, Raja Ampat doesn't have a hyperbaric chamber, so diving within your limits is crucial."

Diving Equipment + facilities
Our on-site certified equipment technician regularly services all our high-quality diving equipment. We have a variety of sizes and types of equipment in to provide the safest and most comfortable diving experience possible for our divers. We always bring spare tanks, BC, regulators, and masks on board in case they are needed. We provide SMBs (surface marker buoys) and reef hooks for every diver.

Respecting Local Customs: Sundays Are Sacred
We honour the local community's traditions by refraining from diving operations on Sundays. Join them and enjoy a Sunday off. Learn more about this in our blog here.
Meet Aline, Our Flagship Boat
Named after Thibault's beloved mother, Aline was built in Sorong in 2019. This comfortable and stable vessel, designed for safety and efficiency, was a labour of love between Thibault and a local boatbuilder. Aline's journey began with Thibault and Lapex, the first Soul Scuba Divers captain, sailing her from Sorong to Yenbuba. Aline was designed to offer more comfort and safety due to her shape and configuration, half cabin and V-shape type module. It's very efficient and stable in wavy conditions.
Our Growing Fleet
In 2022, we welcomed Anna to our fleet. This boat is equipped with two powerful Yamaha 100hp engines. In 2023 we welcomed Marie, our happy boat to the family too.
Safety First
Aline, Anna and Marie are equipped with 100% oxygen, a first-aid kit, and a servicing kit for your equipment.

Discover Kri: Your Diving Base
Our dive centre is conveniently located near Yenbuba Homestay on Kri's northwest coast. While we don't offer accommodation, there are plenty of nearby homestays to choose from. Remember that we are in a remote area so it's a great idea to bring all the essentials with you, a medical travel kit and snacks!
To ensure a seamless diving experience, avoid staying at homestays that also have dive centres (Yenkoranu, Lumba Lumba, Koranu Fyak, Delvin, Waranus, or Lukson).
